After a successful Series A, we’re now looking for a Chief of Staff to the CEO to help further our mission of making climate action radically easy, effective, and enjoyable. In this role, you will be at the center of Klima, interface with all company functions, work closely with the executive team, deliver critical projects, and own strategic initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Research and condense information from scientific, news, or business intelligence sources into executive briefings with actionable recommendations

  • Outline and draft major communications based on high-level input.

  • Undertake ad-hoc projects for the CEO and leadership team, representing execs where appropriate

  • Own/coordinate the monitoring and reporting of company-wide KPIs and establish a deep understanding of what sits behind them.

  • Collaborate with people across the company to implement processes that assure alignment and follow-through on goals and efficiency throughout the organization

  • Manage inbound investor and business partner requests and assist with scheduling

  • Own and streamline the process for scouting, evaluation, and onboarding climate projects

  • Interface with our legal team on partnership contracts, privacy, and compliance topics

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Ultra high degree of self-sufficient problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking.

  • Superb writing skills — you effortlessly present ideas in a concise and captivating way, whether that’s in a PR statement, business pitch, or online forum. 

  • You speak both, German and English fluently.

  • Highly analytical and quantitative thinking — you should be well versed with spreadsheets and other analytics tools.

  • 5 years of work experience where taking ownership is key to success, like an international consulting firm or a fast-growing startup.

  • Experience with budget management and being comfortable with reading financial statements.

  • Pride in accountability — you’re organized, detail-oriented, and thorough.

  • Great team player — you’re able to thoughtfully and constructively challenge the people you work with.

  • You’re hungry to change the world for the better and have a passion to deliver progress on every challenge you set your mind to.
